Xavier Men, Women Place Seventh at BIG EAST Cross Country Championships

KENOSHA, Wis. - The Xavier men's and women's cross country teams both finished seventh at the BIG EAST Championships presented by JEEP on Saturday afternoon. The meet was held at the Wayne Dannehl Course in Kenosha, Wis.
Trevor Nolan highlighted the meet as he placed 20th in the Men's 8K Race in a time of 26:00.04. He earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors, becoming the first Xavier men's runner to earn all-conference honors since Tom Ohlman picked up the recognition in 2012. The 20th-place finish is also the highest finish for a Xavier men's runner since 2012 (Tom Ohlman placed 4th at the A-10 Championships).
On the women's side, Jamie Klavon was the top Xavier finisher for the second time in as many seasons at the championship meet - placing 37th in a time of 21:59.21 in the 6K Race.
The men's race had 89 runners, while the women's race had 99 runners.
