Women's 4x800 Team Breaks School Record at BIG EAST Championships

The team posted a time of 8:59.82 in the event on Saturday
CHICAGO - Xavier indoor track and field finished action at the BIG EAST Championships on Saturday evening. The two-day meet was held at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Indoor Track and Field Center.
The women's 4x800-meter relay team highlighted action on Saturday, setting a new school record in the event (8:59.82) - nearly 10 seconds faster than the previous school record. The relay team consisted of Parker Hopkins, Jamie Klavon, Emily Sienna and Claire Sievern.
All told, the Musketeers combined to establish four new school records over the weekend. Xavier also had three performances rank second all-time in program history.
