Carson Bellish placed tied for eighth with a score of 205 (-8)

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. - Xavier men's golf placed eighth at the Sea Palms Invitational on Saturday. The three-day tournament was held at Sea Palms Resort in St. Simons Island, Ga.

Xavier hit 857 (+5), three strokes behind Western Kentucky (854, +2) who placed seventh. Davidson won the 20-team tournament with a score of 809 (-43). The Wildcats won the tournament by 13 strokes (Wright State placed second with a score of 822, -30).

Carson Bellish posted his second top-10 finish in as many tournaments, placing tied for eighth with a score of 205 (-8). Wright State's Mikkel Mathiesen and Jacksonville State's Erik Jansson placed tied for first with scores of 200 (-13). The field consisted of 120 golfers.
