Men's Basketball Participates in NCAA Tournament Media Session

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Xavier men's basketball participated in a media session on Saturday at T-Mobile Center ahead of the NCAA Sweet 16, set for Friday evening in Kansas City.

No. 3 seed Xavier will take on No. 2 seed Texas in the second game of the NCAA Midwest Regional Semifinals on Friday, March 24. Tip-off will be at 9:45 p.m. ET (approx.) with the game being aired nationally on CBS. Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, Grant Hill and Tracy Wolfson will be on the broadcast.

Xavier defeated No. 11 seed Pitt, 84-73, on Sunday, March 19 at Greensboro Coliseum to advance to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. It marks the ninth time in program history and the first time since 2017 that Xavier advanced to the Sweet 16. The Musketeers moved to 30-28 overall in 29 NCAA Tournament appearances with the win over Pitt.

The Musketeers look to advance to the Elite Eight for the first time since 2017.
