Tyler DeMartino Earns Spot on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

DeMartino led the Musketeers with a .474 average at the plate through four games last week
NEW YORK - After leading the Musketeers with a .474 average at the plate last week, Xavier baseball's Tyler DeMartino was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
DeMartino, a senior from Potamac, Md., had nine hits through four games last week, helping Xavier to a pair of wins. DeMartino recorded a hit in all four games and posted multi-hit games in all three games against No. 20 UConn.
He posted a four-hit, four-RBI game in Xavier's 18-8 win over the Huskies on Saturday, including a home run, finishing the doubleheader with a pair of homers and the week with a .947 slugging percentage.
Xavier returns to action on Tuesday, April 17, when the Musketeers travel to Lexington, Ky., to face No. 11 Kentucky, set for a 6:30 PM start on SECN+.
