Claire Sievern placed fourth in the 800-meter run (2:05.84) on Saturday

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Xavier track and field wrapped up action at the BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon. The two-day meet was held at Villanova Stadium.

Claire Sievern placed fourth in the finals heat of the 800-meter run, posting a school-record time of 2:05.84.

The women's 4x800 meter relay team placed fourth in the event, posting a school-record time of 8:54.64. The team consisted of Parker Hopkins, Jamie Klavon, Grace Zdankiewicz and Claire Sievern. The relay team topped the mark set at last year's BIG EAST Outdoor Championships (8:55.48).

Trevor Nolan was the lone individual medalist for Xavier at the two-day meet, taking home the bronze medal in the steeplechase on Friday night. He posted a school-record time of 8:52.30 in the event.
