The Musketeers move to 3-2 on the season
BOULDER, Colo. - Xavier volleyball fell to Northern Colorado 0-3 (22-25, 15-25, 18-25) on Saturday night.
The Musketeers move to 3-2 (0-0 BIG EAST) while the Bears improve to 3-3 (0-0 Big Sky).
• Senior middle blocker Delaney Hogan recorded the team-high nine kills against the Bears while hitting .500 and adding three block assists to the team's eight.
• Freshman outside hitter Caroline Speelman followed Hogan's nine kills with five while redshirt sophomore outside hitter Emma Grace and graduate outside hitter Brooklyn Cink each totaled four.
• Graduate setter Carrigan O'Reilly posted stats across the board with two kills, 11 assists, six digs, and one block assist.
• Hogan and Cink combined for the team-high of three block assists apiece against Northern Colorado.
• Senior libero Stevie Wolf tallied the match-high in digs with 16 total while being one of two Musketeers to record a service ace. Grace was the second Musketeer to tally an ace.
• Junior setter Logan Flaugh posted the team-high of 13 assists in the three set match.
• The Musketeers totaled 31 kills, 30 assists, 39 digs, and eight block assists.
Xavier will face Charlotte in day three of the Colorado Classic at 1 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. MT on Sept. 3.
