Two Musketeers Earn BIG EAST Volleyball Weekly Honors

Emma Grace and Stevie Wolf receive Player of the Week honors for the first time in their respective careers
NEW YORK - Emma Grace and Stevie Wolf earned BIG EAST Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon. The pair led the Musketeers to a 2-0 weekend.
Emma Grace was tabbed the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week. The redshirt sophomore outside hitter registered 21 kills, seven service aces, 14 digs, three block solos, two block assists, and 43 perfect receptions in the two matches.
Stevie Wolf was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week. The senior libero and defensive specialist collected 41 digs, three service aces, six assists, 45 perfect receptions, and a 5.13 digs/set average in the eight sets.
The Musketeers swept Butler to open BIG EAST action and sealed the first weekend of conference play with a historical five-set win over No. 11 Creighton. The victory over the Bluejays signified the first program win over Creighton, the first ranked win since 2007 (#14 Cal Poly, 3-2), and the highest ranked win in program history.
