Musketeers host to Bellarmine on Saturday for Senior Day

CINCINNATI - Men's and women's swimming traveled across town on Friday, facing the Cincinnati Bearcats at the Keating Aquatic Center.

Xavier will be back in the pool tomorrow afternoon, hosting Bellarmine at the Heidt Family Champions Center, with events starting at 1 PM. The Musketeers will celebrate their senior class during the meet with the Knights.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Kali Fischer, Jordyn Libler, Erin Ritz and Olivia Oyster opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay, setting a time of 1:44.02.
Sydney Smith led Xavier in the 1000 free with a time of 10:41.66.
Kali Fischer won the 200 free with a time of 1:52.03. She picked up a second-place finish in the 200 back with a time of 2:05.20.
Reese Turner set the top time for Xavier in the 100 back, 58.07.
Jordyn Libler placed second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.81.
Norah Simich won the 200 fly with a time of 2:04.05.
Olivia Oyster won the 50 free with a time of 23.12. She followed that with a second-place finish in the 100 free with a time of 51.23.
Kate Lair led Xavier in the 200 breast with a time of 2:26.40.
Mary Sweetman's time of 5:14.75 led Xavier in the 500 free.
Erin Ritz finished the 100 fly in a time of 57.19 to place second.
Julia Sweetman led Xavier in the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.47.
Alexis Worrall, Kali Fischer, Reese Turner and Olivia Oyster closed out the meet on the women's side with a win in the 200 free, setting a time of 1:35.44.
Xavier's women collected four event wins, falling 211-83.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Gage Hannewyk, Ethan Saunders, Aiden Leamer and CJ Sorensen took second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:32.74.
Adam Lamping led Xavier in the 1000 free with a time of 9:55.29, placing second.
Ryan Knipp led the Musketeers in the 200 free with a time of 1:43.83.
Matt Fralic set the top time for Xavier in the 100 back, 53.08.
Ethan Saunders placed second in the 100 breast with a time of 57.28.
Aiden Leamer picked up a second-place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 1:50.46. He also placed second in the 100 fly with a time of 50.70.
CJ Sorensen place third in the 50 free with a time of 21.44.
Kyle Hudson placed third in the 100 free with a time of 46.97.
Michael Benington led Xavier in the 200 back with a time of 1:58.26. He also led the Musketeers in the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.01.
Nathan Wall set a time of 2:08.08 in the 200 breast to place second.
Luke Peterson placed second in the 500 free with a time of 4:40.50.
Ethan Saudners, Gage Hannewyk, Kyle Hudson and CJ Sorensen placed third in the 200 free relay to place third.
Xavier's men fell 231-68.
