CINCINNATI - Xavier cross country continues its season the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday, Oct. 18. The meet is being held at Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Ill.

LAST TIME OUT

Xavier men's cross country won the College Men 8K Blue Race at the 23rd Annual Live in Lou Cross Country Classic on Oct. 5. The Xavier women placed 15th in the College Women 5K Gold Race. The meet was held at E. P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
The men placed first in a field of 30 teams with a score of 69 points. Charlotte placed second (99), while Duquesne finished third (189).
Trevor Nolan paced the men's team with a fourth-place finish (24:45.70), while Anna Gedritis led the women's squad - placing 71st (18:11.30).

NOTABLES

The women's team returns three runners from last year's BIG EAST Championship roster: Jamie Klavon, Grace McKay and Grace Zdankiewicz. Xavier finished seventh in the team standings.
The men's team returns three runners from last year's BIG EAST Championship roster: Drew Allen, Will Garey and Trevor Nolan. Xavier finished seventh in the team standings.
Nolan highlighted the championship meet as he placed 20th in the Men's 8K Race in a time of 26:00.04. He earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors, becoming the first Xavier men's runner to earn all-conference honors since Tom Ohlman picked up the recognition in 2012. The 20th-place finish is also the highest finish for a Xavier men's runner since 2012 (Tom Ohlman placed 4th at the A-10 Championships).
The two teams combined to post six top-10 marks in the school record book, including one new program record (Trevor Nolan - 10K - 31:05.00 - NCAA Great Lakes Regional).
