
Xavier Wins College Men 8K Blue Race at Live in Lou Classic

The Musketeer women placed 15th in the College Women 5K Gold Race
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Xavier men's cross country won the College Men 8K Blue Race at the 23rd Annual Live in Lou Cross Country Classic on Saturday morning. The Xavier women placed 15th in the College Women 5K Gold Race.
The meet was held at E. P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
The men placed first in a field of 30 teams with a score of 69 points. Charlotte placed second (99), while Duquesne finished third (189).
Individually, Kennedy Bett from Cumberland (TN) won the men's race in a time of 24:26.30. The field consisted of 323 runners.
West Virginia won the women's race with 36 points, followed by Clemson (100) and Ohio (122). Individually, Ceili McCabe won the women's race with a time of 16:06.00 in a field of 263 runners.
The Musketeers return to action on Oct. 18 at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Ill.
