CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team took down Georgetown for the second time this season in a 3-1 win (25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 26-24).

Both teams were hot out of the gate with the Musketeers hitting .371 and the Hoyas hitting .359 in the first set.

After Georgetown took the second set, Emma Grace responded for the Musketeers with nine kills in the third and six in the final frame to claim the victory.

Xavier improves to 9-12 (7-4 BIG EAST) while Georgetown falls to 8-15 (1-10 BIG EAST).

Emma Grace tallied a career-high 22 kills in the match to along with 18 digs for her 23rd career double-double.
Logan Flaugh dished out another impressive 52 sets and 10 digs to record the 15th double-double of her career.
Margo Kemp had 13 kills on a .357 clip to follow up last weekend's performance that earned her BIG EAST Freshman of the Week.
Lucia Corsaro led the defensive effort for the Musketeers with 21 digs.
Anna Taylor contributed 14 kills while hitting .219.
Freshman Charlotte Moriarty entered the match in the second set and ended with 16 digs, four kills and two blocks.
Elouise Czajkowski also added 14 digs to round out a heavily defensive night for Xavier.
The Musketeers hit a season-high 67 kills in the match on a .273 clip.
