LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier wrapped up regular-season action at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational on Feb. 17. The meet was held at Centennial Field House.

• Xavier had seven top-10 finishes and had two student-athletes post a first-place finish. Audrey Bishop won the 400-meter dash (1:02.13) and Owen Augustine won the 3,000-meter run (9:00.07).

2024 NOTABLES

• The Xavier women have combined to record eight top-10 performances in school history during the 2024 indoor season, highlighted by Laila Hankerson who set the school record twice in the 60-meter dash (7.58). The freshman sprinter also ranks second in program history in the 200-meter dash (24.78).

• Laila Hankerson enters the championship meet with the fourth fastest 60-meter dash time (7.58) in the BIG EAST this season and the fifth fastest 200-meter dash time (24.78).

• The Xavier men have combined to record 16 top-10 performances in school history during the 2024 indoor season, highlighted by Liam Willman who matched his previous school record in the 60-meter hurdles (8.43) at the Music City Challenge.

2023 NOTABLES

• The Xavier women combined to record 14 top-10 performances in school history during the 2023 indoor season, highlighted by two school records. Claire Sievern set the school record in the one-mile run (4:49.43) and the 4x800 meter relay team (Parker Hopkins, Jamie Klavon, Emily Sienna, Claire Sievern) established a new school record (8:59.82) in the event.

• The Xavier men combined to record 12 top-10 performances in school history during the 2023 indoor season, highlighted by one school record. Sean Beam posted a time of 49.08 in the 400-meter dash, ranking first in school history.

• The 2024 BIG EAST Championships are being held at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Indoor Track and Field Center in Chicago for the third time in as many seasons. The Xavier women placed ninth at the meet last season, while the men placed eighth.
