Individually, Kara Carter finished tied for eighth with a score of 215 (-1)

RIO VERDE, Ariz. - Xavier women's golf placed tied for second at the Rio Verde Invitational. The three-day tournament was hosted by Western Michigan at the White Wing Golf Course at Rio Verde Country Club.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 870 (+6), ranked tied for second with Illinois State. Cal Baptist won the tournament with a score of 865 (+1).

Individually, Kara Carter led the Musketeers with a score of 215 (-1) - ranking tied for eighth. Carter now has eight career top-10 finishes at Xavier. Ali Schrock from Illinois State took home medalist honors with a score of 211 (-5).

Xavier has finished fifth or better in 10 tournaments since the start of the 2022-23 season.
