Women's Golf Places Seventh at WKU Spring Break Shootout

DADE CITY, Fla. - Xavier women's golf placed seventh at the WKU Spring Break Shootout on Tuesday. The two-day tournament was held at held at Lake Jovita Golf Club.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 867 (+15) in a field of 15 teams. Western Kentucky won the tournament with a score of 838 (-14), 15 strokes ahead of runner-up North Florida (853, +1).

Individually, Madison Reemsnyder and Emma Welch led the Musketeers with scores of 216 (+3).

Western Kentucky's Catie Craig took home medalist honors with a score of 201 (-12). Teammate Sarah Arnold placed second with a score of 204 (-9).
