The relay team posted a time of 47.62 on Saturday at Villanova Stadium

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Xavier finished action at the BIG EAST Championships on Saturday evening. The two-day meet was held at Jumbo Elliott Track at Villanova Stadium.

The championship meet was highlighted by the women's 4x100 meter relay team (Jordy Oseghale, Alaina Sullivan, Akira Johnson, Sophie Francis) setting a new school record in the event with a time of 47.62.

All told, nine student-athletes posted top-10 individual marks in the Xavier record books. Four relay teams also posted top-10 marks in the Xavier record books.
