HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Xavier volleyball team lost its third five-set battle of the season to Northern Kentucky on Thursday night, 3-2 (24-26, 23-25, 25-7, 25-19, 13-15).

After losing the first two sets by only two points, the Musketeers bounced back with a dominant 25-7 third set win on a .381 clip with no errors.

Xavier continued to push into the fourth set behind four aces and four blocks.

The Musketeers fall to 2-7 (0-0 BIG EAST) while NKU improves to 3-7 (0-0 Horizon).

Quinci Thomas tallied a career-high 13 kills on only one error on a .364 clip
