Individually, Carson Bellish ranks sixth (139, -3)
At the halfway point of the Git-R-Done Invitational Hosted by Nebraska , Xavier University's Men's golf team finds themselves sitting in 5th place with a combined score of +4 after two rounds of competition. Xavier's standout performer, Carson Bellish, has been a bright spot, currently tied for 6th at -3. Bellish has showcased steady consistency, carding rounds of -1 and -2, keeping him firmly in the mix near the top of the leaderboard.
His teammate AJ Wilhelm is not far behind, sitting at -1 and tied for 16th. Wilhelm had a solid opening round at -2, though he faced some challenges in the second round, finishing with a +1.
The rest of the Xavier squad has had a bit more difficulty finding their rhythm. Kellen Dean and Leo Walling both finished their two rounds at +4, tying for 32nd place. Dean posted back-to-back rounds of +2, while Walling improved on his second round after a tough start, going from +5 to -1 in his second round.
Xavier will need to tighten up their team performance heading into the final round, but with Bellish and Wilhelm leading the charge, the Musketeers still have a chance to climb the leaderboard.
