Xavier Finishes Strong at PNC Bellarmine Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Xavier posted 40 top-20 finishes at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic on Friday. The meet was at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
Sophomore Lily Parker and junior Elena Dimitri headline the women's squad, both winning their respective races: Parker in the 3000-meter run (10:32.46) and Dimitri in the one-mile run (5:10.12)
Graduate student Neil Letellier broke the school record in the one-mile run with a time of 4:07.64. The previous record was held by Grant Parrelli in 2017 with a time of 4:11.17.
The 4x400-meter men's relay, featuring senior Sean Beam, sophomore Edvards Kamaruts, and freshmen Jaiden Lailson and Grant Coughlin finished first overall with a time of 3:20.74, the second fastest time in school history.Â
All told, the Musketeers recorded 11 top-10 program marks at the meet.
