Xavier Swimming Set for a Pair of Dual Meets this Weekend

Musketeers travel to NKU on Friday, Denison on Saturday
CINCINNATI - Xavier men's and women's swimming returns to the pool for a pair of dual meets this weekend, starting on Friday, Oct. 24, when the Musketeers take on NKU, set for a 5:00 p.m. start at at Scott High School in Taylor Mill, Ky. The Musketeers then travel to Denison on Saturday, Oct. 25, set for a 1:00 p.m. start at the Trumbull Aquatic Center in Granville, Ohio

NORTHERN KENTUCKY
- Friday's meet is set to take place at Scott High School in Taylor Mill, Ky., set for a 5:00 p.m. start. Parking and admission are free. - Live results
- NKU opened its schedule against Cincinnati on Oct. 10, falling 166-71 on the women's side and and 159-88 on the men's in the dual with the Bearcats.
- Xavier hosted the Norse last season, the inaugural season for NKU swimming, sweeping the dual meet.
DENISON
- Saturday's dual takes place at the Trumbull Aquatics Center in Granville, Ohio, set for a 1:00 p.m. start. - Live stream / Live results
- The Big Red opened the season at the Akron Zips Classic, competing against Akron, Cleveland State and Youngstown State as well as Xavier and finishing fifth on the women's side. On the men's side, Denison finished fourth of four, facing Cleveland State and Youngstown State in addition to the Musketeers.
- In last season's dual meet, Xavier took the win on the women's side and fell on the men's side.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
- Following the meet at Denison, Xavier wraps up the schedule for the fall semester at the three-day Cleveland State Magnus Cup.
- The meet gets underway on Thursday, Nov. 20 and runs through Saturday, Nov. 22 at CSU's Busbey Natatorium in Cleveland, Ohio.
XAVIER MEN
- Xavier returns five All-BIG EAST honorees, Matt Fralic, Kyle Hudson, Ryan Knipp, Aiden Leamer and Luke Peterson. Co-Most Outstanding Swimmer Aiden Leamer won the 200 fly with an NCAA B-Cut time. He also set an NCAA B-Cut time in the 100 fly. Fralic and Hudson earned all BIG EAST in four events, while Peterson earned it in a pair and Knipp was named all-conference as part of the 800 free relay.
- The Musketeer men placed third at the 2025 BIG EAST Championships, winning four BIG EAST event titles. and setting new program records in seven events.
- Xavier's men return 16 letter winners and added seven newcomers to the roster.
XAVIER WOMEN
- The Musketeers return a trio of All-BIG EAST honorees from last season, Jordyn Libler, Olivia Oyster and Norah Simich. Libler earned all-conference in four events, including winning the 100 breast BIG EAST Championship with an NCAA B-Cut time. Oyster won a pair of BIG EAST titles, in the 50 free and the 100 free, setting NCAA B-Cut times in both. Norah Simich also a set an NCAA B-Cut time in the 200 fly prelims.
- At the 2025 BIG EAST Championships, the Xavier women placed third, winning a program-best eight BIG EAST Championships and setting new school records in 11 events, including all five relays.
- In addition to 13 returning letterwinners, the Musketeers added six newcomers to the roster.
