Boehm Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The three-time BIG EAST Freshman of the Week led the league in hitting percentage this week.
NEW YORK - McKinley Boehm was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after leading the league with a .448 hitting percentage last weekend.
The redshirt freshman helped lead Xavier to a 2-0 weekend at home, taking down St. John's and Seton Hall.
Boehm tallied a match-high 13 kills and four blocks against the Red Storm while hitting a massive .550.
She followed up the next day with four kills and five blocks including two solo stuffs in a sweep of the Pirates.
The Utah native ranks second in conference play with a .387 hitting percentage and also ranks sixth in blocks at 1.13 per set.
Boehm has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week three times this season, the only player to receive the award multiple times.
Xavier currently sits at second place in the BIG EAST standings with a 9-1 record.
The Musketeers continue the home stand this weekend with Villanova and Georgetown coming to town. XU will face the Wildcats on Friday at 6:00 p.m. in Cintas Center.
