Boehm Repeats as BIG EAST Freshman of the Week

Emma Grace and Anna Taylor each earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as well.
NEW YORK - For the second week in a row, McKinley Boehm was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Emma Grace and Anna Taylor also earned spots on the Weekly Honor Roll.
Boehm has earned the honor five times this season and is the only player to earn the award multiple times.
The redshirt freshman averaged 1.43 kills and 1.43 blocks per set in Xavier's 2-0 weekend on the road.
Against Providence, Boehm totaled five kills and five blocks. She followed up the next day with another five kills and five blocks on .308 hitting at UConn.
The Utah native ranks second in the league with a .386 hitting percentage while also ranking third with 1.27 blocks per set.
Grace was named to the Honor Roll for the third time this season after leading the team with 4.29 kills and 4.71 points per set over the weekend.
The redshirt senior also averaged 2.57 digs per set and ranks in the top-10 of league players for kills (3.34), digs (3.13) and points (3.77) per set.
The Kentucky native had 21 kills and 12 digs in the win over UConn for her 41st career double-double and sixth 20+ kill performance.
Taylor contributed 4.14 kills and 4.50 blocks per set while hitting .404 through both matches over the weekend to earn her first career weekly nod.
The right side hitter is hitting .323 on the season and is the the only non-middle blocker to rank in the league's top-10 hitting percentages.
The St. Louis native reached double figures in both wins on the road including a match-high 14 kills in the sweep of Providence.
The Xavier volleyball team closes out the regular season at home this weekend with matches against DePaul and Marquette.Â
The Musketeers will face the Blue Demons on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and the Golden Eagles on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. for Senior Day.
