Three Named to Preseason All-BIG EAST Team

NEW YORK — McKinley Boehm, Macy Hatkevich and Margo Kemp were named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team while Xavier was picked to finish fourth in the league by the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Xavier tied Creighton for most players on the team, each with three.
Hatkevich earned a unanimous selection from the league's coaches.
She started in 30 matches and played in 112 sets as a junior. The Granger, Ind. native ranked fourth in the BIG EAST in assists per set with 9.12, totaling 1021 in 2025. She hit above .600 in three league games in 2025 and tallied 26 aces.
Boehm enters her redshirt sophomore season after being named to the 2025 BIG EAST All-Freshman Team. She was awarded BIG EAST Freshman of the week five times in the 2025 season.
The South Jordan, Utah native played in all 31 games with 30 starts in 2025. The middle blocker hit above .500 on nine different occasions and hit a career-best .615 in the win over Georgetown.
On the 2025 season, Kemp started for the Musketeers in 29 matches while playing in 30. The redshirt junior recorded a career-high 10 blocks against Murray State and ranked 10th in the BIG EAST with 1.02 blocks per set.
Kemp was named to the 2025 Preseason All-BIG EAST Team and was the 2024 BIG EAST Co-Freshman of the Year.
