CINCINNATI - The Xavier University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee partnered with the Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP) this week to help promote the animal adoption. SAAP Volunteer Lisa Binn with Second Shot spent four hours on campus photographing adoptable dogs and cats playing, snuggling and posing with members of Xavier's swim, volleyball, lacrosse, soccer and track teams.
"I absolutely loved spending time and taking pictures with these adorable and loving pets," said junior swimmer Ally Zaleski, President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. "The SAAP organization was great to work with and I'm so happy that we, as Xavier athletes, were able to help the pets in their care."
"This partnership is about so much more than pictures—it's about hope, love, and saving lives," said Kaitlynn Jenkins, Fundraising and Events Coordinator for SAAP. "When our community comes together, incredible things happen. Every animal in these photos is ready for a fresh start, and we hope these images will inspire someone to make that life-changing choice to adopt. You can be part of their story—visit www.adoptastray.com to meet these pets and others that are waiting the same love, learn about our mission, or make a donation. Together, we can turn hopeful faces into happy endings."
