Xavier Athletics Now Offering Concessions “Round-Up” Option at Cintas Center
11.02.25 | Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Athletic Department, All For One Fund
Initiative to Benefit Xavier Student-Athletes
CINCINNATI - Beginning this season, fans visiting Cintas Center during home games will have a new way to support Xavier University Athletics: the "Round-Up for Excellence" initiative.
In partnership with Chartwells and Shift4, patrons making concession purchases will be prompted with the option to round their order up to the nearest dollar, with the extra cents directed to Xavier Athletics to support scholarships, facility enhancements, and critical operating needs—empowering student-athletes to excel.
At participating concession stands, guests purchasing concessions will see the prompt: "Would you like to round up your total to support Xavier student-athletes?"
By choosing "Yes," the amount rounds up to the nearest dollar, and the difference flows directly into the fund.
"Concessions are part of the game day experience—and now they're also part of supporting it," said Seth Breitenstein, Associate Athletics Director for Development. "The Round-Up for Excellence program lets fans make a meaningful contribution effortlessly, and small additions combined over the season can support our commitment to recruit, develop, and support top-tier student-athletes."
The Round-Up program will be active at all home men's and women's basketball games. Concession stands will operate from the time doors open, 60 minutes before women's basketball, and 90 minutes before men's basketball tip-off, until 10 minutes remain in the basketball game.
Fans can also contribute directly to the Athletics Excellence Fund at GoXavier.com/give or by contacting the Athletics Development Office at afo@xavier.edu. Visit the AFO page on GoXavier.com to learn more about the All For One Fund, how to join and ways to support Xavier student-athletes and our 19 NCAA DI programs.
The All For One Fund provides financial support for Xavier student-athletes and all 19 Athletics programs through private donations and to supplement Xavier Athletics in achieving its goals of pursuing excellence academically and athletically.
The Athletics Excellence Fund is the backbone of Xavier Athletics, and is an integral piece to providing a championship environment for our student-athletes. This fund impacts the entire athletics department annually, and is used year-over-year during the athletics seasons for immediate student-athlete needs. This fund is a priority for Xavier Athletics because it allows our department the ability to budget and forecast for future projects and initiatives and gives us flexibility to use that money where it is needed most.
