Swimming Opens Up Spring with Bellarmine at Heidt Family Champions Center

Musketeers host Knights on Saturday, Jan. 17 for Senior Day
CINCINNATI - Xavier swimming opens up the Spring semester at home, hosting Bellarmine at Heidt Family Champions Center on Saturday, Jan. 17, set for a 1:00 p.m. start.
The Musketeers will celebrate their Senior class ahead of the meet with the Knights, with Emma Amon, Jordyn Libler, Olivia Oyster and Sydney Smith being honored on the women's side, and Matthew Adanin, Kyle Hudson, Aiden Leamer and Jon Mason being honored from the men's side.

BELLARMINE
- Saturday's meet will be the first of the new year for the Knights, who were last in action at the A3 Performance Invitational in November.
- Bellarmine's men placed fifth and the women seventh at last season's ASUN Conference Championships.
- Last season, Xavier traveled to Louisville to face the Knights and NKU, with the women winning nine of 14 events to go 2-0, and the men taking seven of 14 events, topping NKU but falling narrowly to BU, 131-130.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
- Xavier is set to take part in three events next weekend, starting with a trip across town to face Cincinnati on Friday, January 23, set for a 3:00 p.m. start.
- The Musketeers then head north to Oxford, Ohio, to take on Miami (Ohio) and Kenyon on Saturday, Jan. 24, set for a 1:00 p.m. start.
- Xavier will then travel to Fishers, Ind., to take part in the Butler Invite on Sunday, Jan. 25, starting at noon.
XAVIER MEN
- Xavier returns five All-BIG EAST honorees, Matt Fralic, Kyle Hudson, Ryan Knipp, Aiden Leamer and Luke Peterson. Co-Most Outstanding Swimmer Aiden Leamer won the 200 fly with an NCAA B-Cut time. He also set an NCAA B-Cut time in the 100 fly. Fralic and Hudson earned all BIG EAST in four events, while Peterson earned it in a pair and Knipp was named all-conference as part of the 800 free relay.
- The Musketeer men placed third at the 2025 BIG EAST Championships, winning four BIG EAST event titles. and setting new program records in seven events.
- Xavier's men return 16 letter winners and added seven newcomers to the roster.
XAVIER WOMEN
- The Musketeers return a trio of All-BIG EAST honorees from last season, Jordyn Libler, Olivia Oyster and Norah Simich. Libler earned all-conference in four events, including winning the 100 breast BIG EAST Championship with an NCAA B-Cut time. Oyster won a pair of BIG EAST titles, in the 50 free and the 100 free, setting NCAA B-Cut times in both. Norah Simich also a set an NCAA B-Cut time in the 200 fly prelims.
- At the 2025 BIG EAST Championships, the Xavier women placed third, winning a program-best eight BIG EAST Championships and setting new school records in 11 events, including all five relays.
- In addition to 13 returning letterwinners, the Musketeers added six newcomers to the roster.
