Six Musketeers Earn CSC Academic All-District

Musketeers honored for accomplishments in classroom and on the field
CINCINNATI - Six Musketeers earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators' (CSC) Academic All-District Team, earning recognition for their work in the classroom as well as on the field, Natalie Bain, Samantha Erbach, Emma Flick, Maria Galley, Elin Hansson and Peyton Kohls.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Natalie Bain is a defender from Alexandria, Ky., who started in 21 matches for the Musketeers this season, playing over 1,600 minutes to help Xavier to 15 wins, including 12 shutout victories, in matches she appeared in. Offensively, she had a career-high 10 points on three goals and four assists in 2025. She was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year for a second-straight season and earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors.
Bain is senior majoring in Exercise Science She was a USC All-American Following the 2024 season and has been named to the Academic All-BIG EAST Team three times.

Samantha Erbach is a midfielder from Lebanon, Ohio, who started in all 22 matches for the Musketeers this season, leading Xavier with 52 points on a team-high 18 goals and NCAA leading 16 assists. Among her goals were three game-winners. Erbach was named the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year and earned First Team All-BIG EAST honors following the season. She set a new single-season program for assists (16) while her 18 goals and 52 points rank second in program records. Through the second round of the NCAA Championship, Erbach's points and assist totals led NCAA DI.
Erbach is sophomore majoring in Sports Management who was named to the Academic All-BIG EAST Team following her freshman year.

Emma Flick is a midfielder from Streetsboro, Ohio, who started in 21 matches for the Musketeers. She finished the season with a career-high 22 points, on a career-best seven goals and eight assists. Among her goals were a team-high four game-winners, 44th most in NCAA DI. Flick ranked No. 52 in the nation for total assists and No. 103 for total points through the end of the NCAA Championship Second Round. She earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Second Team following the season.
Flick is a senior majoring in Finance who earned CSC Academic All-District honors following the 2024 season and has been named to the Academic All-BIG EAST Team three times.

Maria Galley is a goalkeeper from South Windsor, Conn., who started in all 22 matches this season, clocking over 1,800 minutes in goal. Galley collected 51 saves on the season, finished with eight complete shutouts and was a part of all 12 Xavier clean sheets. Galley earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Third Team following the season. She matched the single-season record for wins this season after picking up her 16th of the season against Dayton and finished her time as a Musketeer with a career GAA of 0.79, a new program-best mark.
Galley is a senior majoring in Biomedical Science who was a CSC Academic All-District honoree selection following the 2024 season and has earned Academic All-BIG EAST three times.
Elin Hansson is a forward from Halmstad, Sweden, who played in all 22 matches this season, starting in 20. She finished with 37 points on 16 goals and five assists, scoring a pair of game-winners. Hansson posted four multi-goal games, including three hat tricks, and ranked No. 11 in the country for total goals through the end of the second round of the NCAA Championship. Hansson also ranked No. 4 in NCAA DI for shot accuracy at 0.661 through the NCAA Second Round. She earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors following the season.
Hansson is senior majoring in Biophysics who earned CSC Academic All-District Honors and Academic All-BIG EAST following the 2024 season. Hansson also earned CSC First Team Academic All-American honors and a spot on the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll twice during her time at Lenoir-Rhyne.

Peyton Kohls is a midfielder from Loveland, Ohio, who started in all 22 matches for the Musketeers, collecting 20 points on six goals and eight assists. Her total assists ranked No. 52 in NCAA DI through the end of the NCAA Championship second round, while her total points ranked 139th in the country. Kohls earned All-BIG EAST Third Team honors following the season.
Kohls is a redshirt sophomore majoring in Exercise Science who has earned Academic All-BIG EAST twice during her Xavier career.
