Filip Borovicanin Earns BIG EAST Honor

Borovicanin has had double-doubles in two of the last three games.
CINCINNATI — Xavier University senior Filip Borovićanin has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll after posting his second double-double in three games on Nov. 28 vs. Texas A&M- Corpus Christi. Borovićanin led Xavier with 10 points and a collegiate career-high 15 rebounds. He is the first XU player to have 15 or more rebounds in a game since Jack Nunge vs. Cincinnati in the 2021-22 season (12-11-21).
Borovićanin is ranked in the top 10 in the BIG EAST in four major stat categories: fifth in rebounding (7.5 rpg.), eighth in assists (3.9 apg.), tied for eighth in steals (1.8 spg.) and fourth in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.44).
Xavier, 5-3, is looking for its third-straight win when it hosts Saint Francis tonight at 7 p.m.
