Vivien Nejašmic Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Vivien Nejašmić was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. She is the third different Musketeer to earn the honors this season.

The sophomore guard scored a team-high 24 points on 10-for-17 shooting in 25 minutes of action off the bench at Butler on Dec. 19. She added six rebounds and knocked down two, 3-pointers.

The Split, Croatia, native is one of only two Xavier players to make 10 or more field goals in a game since the start of the 2022-23 season (Meri Kanerva also had 10 field goals vs Kent State on Nov. 14, 2025).

The 24 points by Nejašmić are the second most in a single game by a Xavier player this season (MacKenzie Givens scored 25 points at Cincinnati on Dec. 7).

The Musketeers continue BIG EAST action on Sunday, Dec. 28 at Seton Hall. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. from Walsh Gymnasium with the game being aired on ESPN+.
