Xavier Leads After 36 Holes at Wexford Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - After two rounds at the Wexford Intercollegiate, Xavier University holds the top spot on the leaderboard at +3, positioning itself for a strong final-round finish. The Musketeers turned in rounds of +4 (Round 1) and -1 (Round 2) at Wexford Golf Club, taking a two-shot lead over No. 14 USC Aiken (+5).

XAVIER TOP PERFORMERS

Ray Filter led the charge for Xavier, firing a 3-under 69, highlighted by a front-nine 33 that featured an eagle and two birdies. He sits near the top of the individual leaderboard.
Zach Burton posted an even-par 72, bouncing back in the second round after a +1 (73) start. A.J. Wilhelm and Kellen Dean both carded 73s (+1) to stay in contention, while Carson Bellish finished the day at +2 (74).

LOOKING AHEAD

With 18 holes remaining, Xavier will aim to hold off a competitive field and claim the Wexford Intercollegiate title. Strong final rounds from Filter and Burton could secure the team victory, but USC Aiken and Denver remain within striking distance. The final round tees off tomorrow morning.
