Xavier Wins Four Event Championships on Day Three of BIG EAST

Alexis Worrall and Jordyn Libler win individual titles; Musketeers sweep the 400 medley relay
GENEVA, Ohio – Xavier men's and women's swimming wrapped up day three at the 2025 BIG EAST Championship with four BIG EAST Championships and new school records in six events.
On the women's side, the Musketeers collected three BIG EAST event titles and three new school records, while the men had seven all-conference performances in individual events and won the BIG EAST Championship in the 400 medley relay, picking up three new school records along the way.
The 2025 BIG EAST Championships are set to wrap up on Saturday, with prelims set for 10 a.m.

BIG EAST Swimming Championships - Day 3 by Xavier Musketeers on Exposure
On the women's side, the Musketeers collected three BIG EAST event titles and three new school records, while the men had seven all-conference performances in individual events and won the BIG EAST Championship in the 400 medley relay, picking up three new school records along the way.
The 2025 BIG EAST Championships are set to wrap up on Saturday, with prelims set for 10 a.m.
WOMEN'S NOTABLE
- Erin Ritz took bronze in the 100 fly with a time of 53.59. Norah Simich also took part in the Championship Final, placing sixth with a time of 54.53.
- Julia Sweetman took part in the Consolation Final of the 100 fly, and Maggie O'Toole competed in the Bonus Final.
- Teegan Madara led Xavier in the 400 IM, setting a time of 4:32.54 in the B-Final to score in 14th place. Ally Zaleski and Maddy Lathrop also took part in the Consolation Final. Ava Tenhundfeld touched the wall first in the C-Final and Maddie Agans also took part.
- Alexis Worrall won the BIG EAST Championship in the 200 freestyle with a school-record time of 1:47.14. Olivia Oyster took the bronze, finishing in 1:49.21.
- Mary Sweetman swam in the Bonus Final of the 200 free.
- Jordyn Libler set the top time in the prelims of the 100 breast, setting a new school record and an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:01.01. In the finals, she bettered the school record again, with another B-Cut time of 1:00.47 on the way to repeating as the BIG EAST Champion in the event. Karlie Dodd also took part in the Championship Final, placing eighth.
- Molly Dynda took part in the Consolation Final, and Maddy Lathrop swam in the Bonus Final.
- Reese Turner earned a spot in the Championship Final of the 100 back, finishing seventh at finals. Amy Van Son, Maggie O'Toole and Charlie Ramey took part in the B-Final.
- Reese Turner, Jordyn Libler, Erin Ritz and Alexis Worrall wrapped up the women's first BIG EAST Championship in the 400 medley relay, setting a school-record time of 3:38.46.
- Xavier has 749 points with one day remaining, currently sitting in third place.

MEN's notable
- Aiden Leamer set a new school record time, and an NCAA B-Cut, in the 100 fly Championship Final, finishing in 46.52 to place second. Matt Fralic touched just behind him in third with a time fo 48.50. Caleb Petranchuk also took part in the Championship Final, placing sixth.
- Brayden Mandacina took part in the Consolation final of the 100 fly.
- Nathan Wall placed third in the A-Final of the 400 IM with a time of 3:53.98. Matthew Scicchitano also took part in the Championship Final, finishing eighth
- Kyle Hudson set the top time in the prelims of the 200 free, finishing in 1:37.36. He bettered that time in the Championship Final, finishing in 1:36.65 to place second. Luke Peterson finished in 1:37.43 to place third.
- Ryan Knipp took part in the Consolation Final of the 200 free.
- Ethan Saunders bettered his own school record in the 100 breast, in prelims, setting the top qualifying time of 53.60. In finals, he placed second with a time of 53.66. Brandon Malicki placed fourth and Matthew Scicchitano placed eighth in the Championship Final.
- Brayden Mandacina tied for the top spot in the Consolation final of the 100 breast, and Caleb Petranchuk also took part in the B-Final.
- Matt Fralic led three Musketeers in the Championship Final of the 100 back with a time of 48.55, placing third. Gage Hannewyk, who set the top prelim time in the 100 back, 48.77, placed fourth in the finals and Matthew Adanin finished in fifth.
- Nate Finnegan took part in the B-Final of the 100 back.
- Xavier wrapped up the night with a school-record time of 3:11.15 for Matt Fralic, Ethan Saunders, Aiden Leamer and Kyle Hudson in the 400 medley relay, winning the event for a second-straight year.
- Xavier is in third place with 465 points with one night remaining.
