MILWAUKEE - Xavier men's basketball arrived in Milwaukee on Thursday afternoon to participate in a media session and open practice ahead of their NCAA Tournament First Round game at Fiserv Forum.

No. 11 seed Xavier takes on No. 6 seed Illinois on Friday, March 21 in the NCAA Tournament First Round. Tip-off is slated for 9:45 p.m. ET from Fiserv Forum with the game being aired nationally on CBS.

Xavier advanced to the NCAA Tournament First Round following an 86-80 win over No. 11 seed Texas in the NCAA Tournament First Four on Wednesday, March 19 at UD Arena.

The winner of Friday's contest will face the winner of the No. 3 Kentucky / No. 14 Troy game on Sunday, March 23 in the NCAA Tournament Second Round.
