Kara Carter placed tied for 30th (228, +12) to pace the Musketeers

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Xavier women's golf placed tied for 11th at the Chattanooga Classic on Saturday, March 29. The three-day tournament was played at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 921 (+57), placing tied for 11th with the host Mocs in a field of 15 teams. Florida won the tournament with a score of 880 (+16), finishing nine strokes ahead of Virginia (889, +25).

Duke's Anna Cañado Espinal took home medalist honors with a score of 217 (+1) in a field of 90 golfers.

Individually, Kara Carter placed tied for 30th with a score of 228 (+12) to pace the Musketeers.

Xavier returns to action on April 7-8 at the Brickyard Collegiate in Macon, Ga.
