Individually, Kara Carter placed sixth (223, +7)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Xavier women's golf posted a runner-up finish at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon. The two-day tournament was played at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 901 (+37), placing second in a field of 16 teams. Western Kentucky won the tournament with a score of 892 (+28).

Individually, Kara Carter placed sixth with a score of 223 (+7) - the 13th top-10 finish of her career. Isabel Brozena posted her second top-10 finish in as many tournaments, placing tied for eighth (225, +9).

Anna Andrysova (Louisiana-Monroe) took home medalist honors in a field of 87 golfers with a 54-hole score of 213 (-3). North Florida's Casilda Allendesalazar placed second (216, E).

Xavier continues it spring season on March 14-16 at the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Ariz.
