Strong Finishes for Day One of the Jim Vargo Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky.- Xavier outdoor track and field finishes strong the Jim Vargo Invitational. The meet was held at the B. Frazier Stadium in Louisville, Ky.

Senior Trevor Nolan headlines the men's results finishing third at the meet with a personal best in the 1500-meter run (3:52.35), the second fastest in school history. Junior Eilee Ossont tops the women's side finishing second at the meet with a personal best in the 1500-meter run (4:36.48).

All told, Xavier runners had three top-10 finishes at the meet.

Saturday's action has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Xavier returns to action on Apr. 12 at the Norse Track Invitational in Alexandria, Ky.
