CINCINNATI - Xavier outdoor track and field heads back down to Nashville for the Music City Challenge May 2-3. The meet is being held at the Vanderbilt Outdoor Track in Nashville, Tenn.

NOTABLES

Both Xavier men's and women's track placed ninth at the 2025 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championships.
At the Music City Challenge, graduate student Neil Letellier continued a dominant indoor season, breaking the school record in the one-mile run with a time of 4:06.89. He beats his previous school record set at the PNC Bellarmine Classic on Jan. 24 with a time of 4:07.64.
At the Gem City Invitational, freshman Mateo Mosquera finished second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.86, the second fastest in school history, and sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.42, the seventh fastest in school history. The 4x400-meter men's relay, featuring sophomores Edvards Kamaruts, Brock Harris and freshmen Jaiden Lailson and Grant Coughlin finished first overall with a time of 3:18.85, the second fastest time in school history.
At the PNC Bellarmine Classic on Jan. 24, the 4x400-meter men's relay, featuring senior Sean Beam, sophomore Edvards Kamaruts and freshmen Jaiden Lailson and Grant Coughlin finished first overall with a time of 3:20.74, the third fastest time in school history.
Sophomore Brock Harris headlines the Xavier squad at the EKU Spring Meet, finishing first in the 400-meter dash at the meet with a time of 49.12, the third fastest in school history. Junior Jordy Oseghale finished third in the 100-meter dash (12.41) and fourth in the 200-meter dash (26.38), the former being the sixth fastest time in school history.
The men's 4x400 indoor, headlined by sophomores Edvards Kamaruts, Brock Harris, and freshmen Grant Coughlin, Jaiden Lailson recorded the fastest time in school history with a 3:16.77.
Senior Trevor Nolan broke the school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:42.25 at the Raleigh Relays. He beats his previous record set in 2023 with a time of 8:52.30. Junior Chris Lucas finished the 1500-meter run with a time of 3:54.54, good for fourth in school history.
At the Norse Track Invitational, the team's 4x100 and 4x400 relays came out on top for both men's and women's side at the meet.
