Men's Basketball Announces Home Opener And Other Schedule Updates

Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout vs. Cincinnati is set for Friday, Dec. 5.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier University Athletics announced that there will be 18 regular season home games on the 2025-26 men's basketball schedule, one more than last season at Cintas Center. One of the highlights of the 2025-26 home schedule is the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout vs. Cincinnati on Friday, Dec. 5.
While the total non-conference slate is still being finalized, the opening game of the Richard Pitino Era is set for Monday, Nov. 3 vs. Marist, a 20-game winner last season. The following Monday, Nov. 10, XU hosts Santa Clara, a team that won 21 games in the 2024-25 season.
The total non-conference slate will be announced once it is complete, while the BIG EAST schedule is traditionally released in September. The 10 league home games include three games against teams that are on most preseason top 25 lists, Creighton, UConn and St. John's. The latter two have been listed in many top five and top 10 lists.
Xavier season ticket holders are reminded that May 30 is the season ticket renewal deadline. To view their invoice, account holders should log in to their My Musketeers account. Several renewal and payment plan options are available. The deadline for current season ticket holder renewals is May 30, 2025.
New season tickets for the 2025-26 season will be available for purchase with seat selection in June. Anyone interested in new season tickets may now place a $100 per seat, non-refundable deposit that will be applied toward their season ticket cost. Due to demand, a deposit does not guarantee season tickets, but it is the best opportunity to have a chance to select seats in June.
