Nolan Heads Strong Finish for Xavier at the Music City Challenge

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Xavier outdoor track and field wraps up action at the rainy Music City Challenge. The meet was held at the Vanderbilt Outdoor Track in Nashville, Tenn.

Trevor Nolan broke the school record in the 5000-meter run at the Music City Challenge, posting a time of 14:09.74 He beats the previous record of 14:23.95 in 2010. The men's 4x400 team broke the school record at the Music City Challenge, posting a time of 3:16.96.

All told, Xavier runners had 10 top-10 finishes at the meet.

Xavier returns to action on May 15-17 at the BIG EAST Championships in Storrs, Conn.
