Musketeers now get set for BIG EAST Championship in February

OXFORD, Ohio - Xavier swimming traveled to Oxford, Ohio, to face Miami (Ohio) on Saturday afternoon to take on the host RedHawks and Kenyon.

Xavier will not compete in the Butler Invite on Sunday, Jan. 25, after the event was postponed due to weather. The Musketeers will next be in action at the 2026 BIG EAST Championships, set to run February 18-21, at FAST in Ocala, Fla.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Emma Tenhundfeld, Jordyn Libler, Norah Simich and Olivia Oyster set a time of 3:41.47 in the 400 medley relay to place second.
Teegan Madara led Xavier in the 1000 free with a time of 10:29.99.
Sydney Smith's time of 1:57.41 led the Musketeers in the 200 free. She also posted the top time by a Musketeer in the 500 free, finishing in 5:14.20.
Emma Tenhundfeld placed second in the 200 back, finishing in a time of 2:01.01. Her time of 56.55 in the 100 back also led the Musketeers.
Jordyn Libler placed second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:02.68.
Norah Simich placed first in the 200 fly with a time of 2:00.64. She also led the Musketeers in the 100 free with a time of 52.68.
Olivia Oyster won the 50 free with a time of 23.08.
Parker Mandacina placed third in the 200 breast, finishing in 2:21.52.
Julia Sweetman's time of 57.83 in the 100 fly led the Musketeers.
Ryon Argo led the Musketeers in the 400 IM with a time of 4:32.73.
Abbey Fish, Jordyn Libler, Norah Simich and Olivia Oyster set a time of 1:34.47 in the 200 free relay, placing third.
The Musketeers fell to Miami, 260.5-82.5, and Kenyon,192-95.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Matthew Adanin, Matthew Scicchitano, Josh Martin and Kyle Hudson led Xavier in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:22.98.
Nick Stroh placed second in the 1000 free with a time of 9:33.83.
Kyle Hudson placed third in the 100 free, finishing in a time of 45.88. He also led Xavier in the 200 free with a time of 1:40.70.
Matt Fralic finished second in the 100 back with a time of 50.45.
Brayden Mandacina's time of 58.09 led the Musketeers in the 100 breast.
Aiden Leamer won the 200 fly in a time of 1:47.02.
Sean McGinley led Xavier in the 50 free with a time of 21.12.
Nate Finnegan's time of 1:51.66 in the 200 back led the Musketeers.
Patrick Benington set a time of 2:09.54 to lead Xavier in the 200 breast. He also led Xavier in the 400 IM with a time of 4:03.69.
Luke Peterson finished third in the 500 free with a time of 4:35.06
Josh Martin placed third in the 100 fly, finishing in 50.15.
Sean McGinley, Matthew Adanin, Aiden Leamer and Kyle Hudson closed out the meet with a time of 1:21.58 in the 200 free relay, placing second.
The Xavier men fell to Miami, 217-77, and Kenyon, 182-106.
