Day two gets underway at 10 AM on Thursday

OCALA, Fla. – Xavier men's and women's swimming wrapped up day one at the 2026 BIG EAST Championships, collecting a pair of third-place finishes on night one.

Day two of the four day meet gets underway on Thursday, with prelims set for a 10:00 a.m. start at FAST.

WOMEN'S NOTABLE

Xavier's women opened up the meet with a time of 1:40.20 in the 200 medley relay for Emma Tenhundfeld, Jordyn Libler, Norah Simich and Olivia Oyster, placing third.
Norah Simich, Julia Sweetman, Ella Maxfield and Olivia Oyster set a time of 7:26.10 in the 800 free relay, placing fourth.
Xavier is in sixth place after two relays and a diving competition in which they did not compete.

MEN'S NOTABLE

Xavier's men placed third in the 200 medley relay, with Matt Fralic, Brayden Mandacina, Aiden Leamer and Sean McGinley finishing in a time of 1:28.59.
Kyle Hudson, Ryan Knipp, Nate Finnegan and Luke Peterson finished the 800 free relay in a time of 6:36.51 to place fourth.
Xavier is in fourth place with 62 points after a pair of relays.
