CHARLESTON, S.C. - Xavier placed tied for third at the Daniel Island Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The two-day tournament was hosted by the College of Charleston at Daniel Island Club - Ralston Creek Course.

Xavier posted a 54-hole score of 876 (+12), placing tied for third with East Carolina in a field of 15 teams. High Point won the tournament with a score of 864 (E), while NC State finished second (870, +6).

Individually, Isabel Brozena placed eighth (214, -2) and Madison Reemsnyder placed tied for ninth (215, -1). Marie Madsen took home medalist honors (209, -7), while Anna Howerton (High Point) placed second (210, -6).

Brozena now has seven career top-10 finishes. Reemsnyder now has 12 career top-10 finishes.

Xavier returns to action at the Valspar Augusta Invitational on March 14-15.
