UNCASVILLE, Conn. - Savannah White posted a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds on Friday evening as the No. 11 seed Musketeers dropped their BIG EAST Tournament First Round game vs No. 6 seed St. John's, 53-48, at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Xavier moved to 11-19, while the Red Storm improved to 22-10.

NOTABLES
- Xavier took a six-point lead (41-35) into the final quarter of play. St. John's battled back to outscore the Musketeers, 18-7, in the final frame to pull off the come-from-behind win.
- The Musketeers got within two points, 50-48, with 2:13 left in regulation, but were held scoreless for the remainder of the contest.
- The game featured four lead changes and three ties. Xavier led for 23:28 in the contest, while the Red Storm led for 13:27.
- Savannah White led three Musketeers in double figures with 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting. The forward pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds for her fourth career double-double.
