Natalie Bain Signs NWSL Contract with Houston Dash

Defender signed through the 2026 NWSL season
HOUSTON - Xavier women's soccer standout Natalie Bain has signed a NWSL agreement with the Houston Dash, the organization announced on Friday/
Bain, a defender from Alexandria, Ky., started in 21 matches for the Musketeers in 2025, playing over 1,600 minutes to help the Musketeers defense to 12 shutout victories in matches in which she played. Offensively, she had a career-high 10 points on three goals and four assists in 2025.
For her Xavier career, she played in 85 matches for the Musketeers, finishing with 25 points on nine goals and seven assists in over 7,300 minutes played. She helped Xavier to 59 wins and 46 shutouts during her four seasons at Xavier. The Musketeers made three NCAA appearances during her career, won the 2025 BIG EAST Tournament Championship, and the 2023 BIG EAST Regular Season Championship during that span.
Following her senior season, Bain became the first Musketeer to earn USC All-American honors for a third time in her career, earning Fourth Team honors for 2025 after earning a spot on the Second Team in both 2023 and 2024.
Bain earned BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year for a second-straight season and All-BIG EAST First Team honors in 2025, marking the fourth time in her career she earned All-BIG EAST honors.
Bain was one of 24 players selected by the U.S. Women's Youth National Team staff to take part in a U.S. National Team Development Camp in January, which followed her participation in the USWNT Domestic Training Camp in October 2025, where Bain is the only collegiate student-athlete among the 24 players called up to the U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team provisional Roster.
