Women’s Basketball Signs Lucile Jerome to 2026-27 Roster

The guard joins the Musketeers from Amiens, France

CINCINNATI - Xavier head women's basketball coach Billi Chambers announced the addition of Lucile Jerome to the 2026-27 roster on Thursday.

Jerome played for the Flammes Carolo Basket Club at the 2026 EuroLeague Championships, averaging 6.3 points and 2.4 assists per game. The 5-foot-9 guard also played for France at the 2023 FIBA U20 Women's European Championship, averaging 4.9 points and 3.0 assists per game. She helped France win the 2023 FIBA U20 Women's European Championship.

"Lucile adds valuable depth to our backcourt," said Chambers. "She's an athletic guard who thrives in transition and will allow us to play faster and more effective on the offensive end. Her defensive intensity will immediately elevate our overall style of play."

The Amiens, France, native plays in Ligue Féminine de Basketball – the top women's league in the country. She helped her team win a first division title in 2025-26 and a European Championship with the U20 Team in 2023.
