Women's Golf Wins Seventh Straight BIG EAST Championship

Madison Reemsnyder took home medalist honors
OKATIE, S.C. - Xavier women's golf won its seventh straight BIG EAST Championship on Monday afternoon. The three-day tournament was played at Callawassie Island Club.
The seven conference titles are the most by a single team in BIG EAST history. Xavier posted a 54-hole score of 871 (+7), finishing 22 strokes ahead of St. John's (893, +29). The 22-stroke margin of victory is third largest margin of victory in conference history. The Musketeers posted a 23-stroke victory in 2025 and Notre Dame defeated Miami by 44 strokes in 2003.
Madison Reemsnyder took home medalist honors for the second straight tournament, posting a 54-hole score of 209 (-7). She becomes the seventh golfer in school history to earn medalist honors at the BIG EAST Championships. The senior golfer hit five-under-par 67 on Monday, the second lowest round score in tournament history. The Canton, Ohio, native now has 15 career top-10 finishes with two tournament titles.
Reemsnyder's nine-stroke victory is the largest margin of victory at the BIG EAST Championships since 2019 (Xavier's Mikayla Fitzpatrick defeated Seton Hall's Elizabeth Win by nine strokes).
Isabel Brozena placed second with a score of 218 (+2), followed by teammate Darrelyn Webster who hit 220 (+4). Brozena now has 11 career top-10 finishes, while Webster has three career top-10 finishes (the third-place finish is the highest of her career).
Brozena, Reemsnyder and Webster were named to the all-tournament team.
