Men's Basketball Releases Its 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University announced its 2026-27 non-conference men's basketball schedule, including exhibition games and 12 regular season games. Xavier tips off the exhibition season with the CareSource Invitational vs. Dayton on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center. XU hosts Kent State in an exhibition on Friday, Oct. 23, at Cintas Center as part of All for One Weekend. All for One Weekend unites Xavier University's Alumni Weekend and Family Weekend for the first time. The Musketeers are planning to play a third exhibition game on the road against an opponent TBA.

Xavier takes on Mississippi State on Friday, Nov. 13 in The Greenbrier Tip-Off in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Iowa, which reached the 2026 NCAA Elite Eight, visits Cintas Center on Friday, Nov. 20. The Musketeers will face off against a pair of 2026 NCAA Tournament teams in the Battle 4 Atlantis, which will be played Nov. 25-27 in The Bahamas. XU's two Battle 4 Atlantis opponents are slated to be officially announced soon. XU visits Cincinnati on Saturday, Dec. 5 for the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout.

Xavier opens the 2026-27 regular season with a three-game homestand. XU welcomes Mount St. Mary's for its regular season opening night on Monday, Nov. 2. The Musketeers play nine non-conference games at Cintas Center, including one exhibition game.

Second-year head coach Richard Pitino welcomes back junior forward Jovan Milićević, who was second on the team in scoring last year at 12.4 points per game and reached double figures 22 times. Redshirt sophomore Gabriel Pozzato, who sat out last season due to injury, made the 2024-25 Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman Team after averaging 14.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in his one season at Evansville.

Xavier added a group of seven transfers to the 2026-27 roster, including guard Chance Westry, who averaged 15.5 points per game at UAB and earned American Conference Second Team honors last season. Big man Mike Nwoko, who averaged 13.4 points per game at LSU, and guard Tru Washington, who averaged 11.9 points per game at Miami (Fla.) last season and previously played on two NCAA Tournament teams under Pitino at New Mexico, also are in the fold. Sharpshooting senior Rubén Dominguez shot 40.0 percent from three-point range (fifth in the SEC) and made 2.53 three-pointers per game (eighth in the SEC) last season at Texas A&M. A redshirt freshman and four incoming freshmen round out the roster.

SEASON TICKET INFORMATION

Men's basketball season tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Monday, August 3. Tickets can be purchased through GoXavier.com and the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office.
Season tickets are the best way to guarantee your seat to all 19 home games. This year's season ticket package includes the home exhibition game versus Kent State as part of All For One Weekend. Single-game tickets for Kent State, including for Xavier alumni, family and friends, will be released later this summer.
Season tickets are still available in all locations including lower-level premium and upper-level mid-court, corner and baseline seats. Prices start as low as $16 per game.
Season ticket holders receive the same seat to all home games at Cintas Center and earn Musketeer Points, which determine ticket priority for purchasing other tickets, including away games and postseason tickets such as the 2027 BIG EAST Men's Basketball Championship at Madison Square Garden.
