CINCINNATI - Xavier cross country opens its fall season on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Rumble In The Fort. The meet is being held at the Mastodon Cross Country Course in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Parking is $5 for fans attending the race and can be purchased online at gomastodons.com

NOTABLES

On the women's side, Xavier returns three runners who competed at the 2025 BIG EAST Championships: Anna Gedritis (64th; 22:02.74), Brianna McIvor (70th; 22:52.06) and Lily Parker (73rd; 23:14.18). The squad finished fifth (out of 11 teams) at the meet, matching the team's highest finish at the conference championship since 2019.
On the men's side, Xavier returns four of its top-six finishers from the 2025 BIG EAST Championships: Colin Burke (43rd; 25:07.81), Harrison Cunningham (46th; 25:14.02), Michael Sauer (47th; 25:14.65) and Chris Kardos (59th; 25:38.21). The Musketeers placed seventh in the team standings out of nine teams at the meet.
On the women's side, Xavier posted four top-10 marks in the school record book during the 2025 season. Myla Toole finished her career ranked fourth in both the 5K (17:26.10) and 6K (20:31.78) races. Grace Zdankiewicz finished her career ranked tied for eighth in the 5K race (17:38.30) and 10th in the 6K race (20:57.86).
