Ivanna Flores Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

The junior earned the honors for the first time in her career
NEW YORK -Â Ivanna Flores was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on Thursday. The junior golfer earns the honors for the first time in her career.
Flores placed second at the Lady Paladin Invitational on Sept. 20, leading the Musketeers to a third-place finish.
Flores posted a 54-hole score of 206 (-10), matching the school record for 54-hole scoring. The second-place finish for Flores was the highest finish of her Xavier career and her first career top-10 finish.
The Musketeers placed third at the tournament with a 54-hole score of 861 (-3), the team's second straight tournament hitting under par (hit a school record 10-under-par 854 at the The Bruzzy on Sept. 9).
Xavier returns to action on Sept. 26-27 at the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend, Ind.
