Freshman knocked in the game-winner in 70th minute at Georgetown
NEW YORK - After helping Xavier to a win in the BIG EAST opener at Georgetown, forward Kieran Bradley was named the BIG EAST Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Bradley, originally from Wilmington, N.C., knocked in the eventual game-winner in Xavier's 4-3 win against the Hoyas, putting the Musketeers in front 4-1 in the 70th minute. The goal was her fourth of her freshman season, and second game-winner, giving her eight points on the year.Â
The win over the Hoyas marked the first time in program history Xavier has won back-to-back matches against the Hoyas, also topping GU in the BIG EAST Championship match in November 2025. The victory also marked the program's first win at Shaw Field.
Xavier is back in action on Wednesday, September 30, returning to Corcoran Field to host DePaul, set for a 6:30 p.m. start on ESPN+.
