2020 (As a Sophomore)
Appeared in 11 games, starting in 10, in season shortened to 15 games due to COVID-19...Had four hits in 33 at bats for a .121 average... scored four times for the Musketeers and brought in two RBI...Made three starts at catcher, three in the outfield and four at designated hitter...had a perfect 1.000 fielding average.
2019 (As A Freshman)
• BIG EAST All-Academic Team
Made 28 appearances (13 starts)... hit .203 with 1 home run, eight RBIs and four walks... had five of his 12 hits in a game at Grand Canyon including two RBIs and a home run (3/16)... hit a season-high three RBIs in a victory at St. John’s (4/12)
Before Xavier
• A strong defensive catcher, Stephenson hit .429 with seven homers and 19 stolen bases as a high school junior.Â
• Earned All-State recognition for the first time in 2016 after leading team to a district championship.
• A running back for the Algonac football team, Stephenson helped the team to its first conference championship since 1972 last fall.
• Father, Mike, played center field on the baseball team at Michigan State.
• Younger brother Grant is also a member of the Xavier Baseball team.
